    I teach lessons from Baltimore Wood's "Nature in the City" program to students from 3rd to 5th grade in 19 SCSD schools.

    January 2015 – Present
    I've done private statistical consulting, including tasks associated with data management, statistical programming and interpretation.
    I also do private education consulting, providing STEM enrichment activities and STEM curriculum advice to schools in the Central New York Area.

  • Research Aide, The Research Foundation for SUNY
    February 2015 – May 2015
    I assisted the Associate Director of Professional Education and Non-credit Programs (in the SUNY-ESF Outreach Office) with various tasks associated with planning both the 13th Annual NYS Green Building Conference (held in March 2015) and the 7th Annual NYS Biotechnology Symposium (held at Brookhaven National Laboratory in May 2015.)

    ESF S.C.I.E.N.C.E (Summer Camps Investigating Ecology in Neighborhood and City Environments) is a summer camp program which features week long day camp sessions for Syracuse community youth groups (Syracuse City School District, Parks and Recreation, etc.)

    Through the Office of Outreach at SUNY-ESF I helped implement a dual-credit course at the Institute of Technology @ Syracuse Central (a high school in Syracuse.) I was responsible for building on a curriculum that was developed several years earlier as well as day-to-day planning and lecturing the dual-credit class. I taught approximately 60 students over two years. During my time I also assisted teachers in other schools teaching the same class by providing materials, PD and guest lectures.

    As a teaching assistant for Meteorology, I helped develop several lab/homework exercises as well aiding in day to day classroom activities such as grading and occasionally hosting review sessions.

    As a teaching assistant in "The Global Environment" I help ensure that day-to-day operation of the course goes well, and occasionally help present material and lead small group sessions.

  • Field Research Assistant, The Research Foundation for SUNY
    August 2012 - September 2012
    Spent the 2012 summer field season sampling hyporheic (below surface) invertebrates using a surber sample. Job involved long hours in the field as well as creative problem solving to fix issues that arose with scares resources.

    I assist high school students taking a college level calculus course weekly with topics they are struggling with and help them prepare for exams.
