Hi, I'm Jake O'Connell!
I'm a recent graduate of the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. This webpage is my home on the internet, with a little bit
of information about me, as well as projects I've worked on, etc. Feel free to browse around, or if you have questions, contact me!
Research Interests
My undergraduate degree is in environmental science with a focus in earth and atmospheric systems, although much of my coursework has been in applied statistics. Additionally, I've had a strong focus on energy and ecological economics which lead me to teaching an ESF dual enrollment class at a local high school. This experience sparked an interest in environmental education and as part of my undergrad I did an analysis of an environmental education summer camp run by ESF Outreach called ESF S.C.I.E.N.C.E (Summer Camps Investigating Ecology in Neigborhood and City Environments). I'm currently involved in designing and implementing a project to assess the impacts of SUNY-ESF's Dual-enrollment program, called ESF in the High School.
Minor in Applied Statistics
